The Personal Chef

One of my favorite things about my job is the ability to cook for others in the comfort of their own home. There is something to be said about enjoying friends and family without the stress and planning of the meal. Last night I had the absolute pleasure of cooking for a wonderful family, one which deserves such an experience. The six of them enjoyed dinner prepared and served by us without ever having to get up from the table, and of course when the meal was finished, dishes were cleaned and put away before they could say thank you.

We started the evening with soup shooters. One of my favorite small bites to serve before the meal. Second course was simple and tasty, organic greens with grapefruit and orange, cucumber and a sesame citrus dressing. Main Course consisted of roasted herbed chicken breasts with garlic white pepper mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus. And for dessert, apple tart napoleans with cinnamon vanilla creme.

  1. As the recipient of this dinner, all I can say is "Wow!" Every course was a feast for the eyes and the tummy. Our family is experiencing a difficult December and this dinner allowed us to be together in an entirely stress-free environment. Private and special. Carlyn and Dori took care to make each element perfect for all of us. And left the kitchen spotless with china and silver put away. Unimaginable!!!!
    Thank you. Liz
